Michael Tubbs will speak with us via Zoom; he is a candidate for Lieutenant Governor, former mayor of Stockton, Special Advisor to Governor Gavin Newsom for Economic Mobility and founder of End Poverty in California (EPIC) and Mayors for a Guaranteed Income.Please bring non-perishable food items for donation to the food bank. The best foods to donate are high-protein items like canned meat, fish, beans, and nut butters, along with whole-grain staples such as pasta, rice, and oats. Other good options: low-sodium canned vegetables, fruits packed in juice, low-sugar cereals, and shelf-stable milk. Please choose non-expired items that are nutritious and in their original, sealed packaging.
