Hands Off! Protest in Marysville April 5, 2025
HANDS OFF!
RED MARYSVILLE, YUBA -SUTTER, FIGHTS BACK
Over 150 people turned out to join us to protest the Trump/Musk regime in red, rural, Yuba County. This was a great turnout for the area that is 60% Republican. The protesters were from Yuba County, and Sutter County, with a couple of folks from neighboring Butte and Placer. We are represented by Kevin Kiley (R) in CD3, and Doug LaMalfa in CD1. These congressional Representatives vote with Trump and MAGA. They must be replaced.
There was a lot of positive energy generated by the shared resistance and the commitment to protecting our Democracy, our civil rights, our Social Security, Veterans, immigrants, the planet, Ukraine, Gaza, our wallets, and you name it, our entire future.

Thank
you very much for organizing our local event! It was great to be able
to stay local, and I was heartened to see so many participants,
considering that we live in "Magaville"! Also noteworthy: the MANY
supportive honks from passersby, and very few "fingers" flown. Several
of my senior citizen friends attended, and would not have traveled out
of town to demonstrate. For several, this was their first ever protest
participation! I look forward to future stagings!
