From the California Democratic Party: Ballots are being mailed to California voters this week! Make your plan to vote early and then sign up to help voters across California do the same. Have questions about your ballot or need more info on how to vote? Our Voter Protection Hotline is open through November 3, Election Day. Call (877) 321-VOTE (8683)! CALIFORNIA DEMOCRATS ARE UNITED TO OPPOSE PROP 39 - ANOTHER TRUMP ATTACK ON OUR DEMOCRACY: “On Election Day, the results will show that California voters see Proposition 39 for what it really is — a cynical attempt to suppress the vote and silence our voices. California Democrats won’t let it happen.” - CADEM Chair Rusty Hicks The California Democratic Party is proud to stand alongside our Democratic leaders in the fight to defeat Proposition 39. Prop 39 rewrites voting rules to keep Trump and his cronies in power and to make it harder for you to vote. DEMOCRATS ARE FIGHTING FOR FAIR ELECTIONS WHILE TRUMP IS USING TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO RUN CAMPAIGN ADS: Democrats believe elections should be decided by voters. Period. Every eligible American should be able to cast a ballot freely and safely, and every lawful vote should be counted. Democrats are preparing to protect polling places, defend mail voting and make sure voters know their rights. More than 20 Democratic attorneys general have been coordinating legal strategies and preparing emergency court filings in case voters or state election systems face federal interference. California has created stronger protections around the fundamental right to vote and to safeguard our elections. Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a package of election laws designed to protect ballots, voting systems, election workers and voters from interference or intimidation.
